A Ridiculous Challenge
So I was poking around on digg the other day and came across this story. Evidently there’s a dude out there who has challenged himself to design a new WordPress Theme every day for 30 days (now 31 to make sure he breaks the record). Ok, I’ve had a go at desiging WordPress themes before and it would take me 30 days to make JUST ONE theme (and I’m reasonably well versed in XHTML/CSS and PHP).
You’d think that all the themes would be pretty simple and nothing to really get all that excited about, but you’d be wrong. These are some of the best themes I’ve seen, especially this one which is modeled after digg’s 3 column look.
Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see all the new themes this guy pushes out over the next few weeks. I’ll keep you posted to any that are extraordinarily impressive, but feel free to check out his site and see the themes for yourself.
