Kent Hovind to Prison

It seems I’m a little behind on my news, but Kent Hovind, a Biblical creationist and evangelist, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for tax fraud/evasion. Hovind apparently thought that his ministry was exempt from taxes despite repeatedly being told otherwise. He was sentenced last Friday, January 19, to 10 years in prison and 3 years of parole.

As many of you may know, I have always had serious problems with Kent Hovind, his methodology and his conclusions. He seemed to be wrong about 90% of the time he ever spoke on anything. I’ve watched several of his videos and I, even as a layman, could easily point out the points of inaccuracy in his lectures.

It seems I’m not alone as the web is littered with anti-Hovind material, many for good reason. Many of these same websites are rejoicing in the fact that the man is now in prison. While I don’t condone breaking the law, it’s NEVER a good day to see a man lose 10 years of his life over a stupid decision that hurt no one. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve it, I’m just saying it’s hard for me to be happy over his demise, regardless of our disagreements.

I’d like to personally send my condolences to the family of Dr. Hovind. I don’t have a lecture to give you, just my sympathy.

Let this be a lesson to all of us. Christians are NOT above the law. In fact, we are called to be above reproach! Let’s not make the same decision that Hovind did. Not just in taxes, but in every area of the law.

You would think that such attitudes would be rare in the Christian community, but you’d be wrong. I’ve personally seen churches ignore law. I’ve seen building codes ignored. I’ve seen the topic of “accessibility” literally laughed at. I’ve seen legal issues swept under the rug to save a buck or a reputation. It’s not a laughing matter, Christians. Excellence is not a suggestion.

Anyway, I hope the church learns a lesson from all this. Again, my sympathis to the Hovind family.

I am a Christian and I follow the law. I’m just smart enough to figure out that God’s law is more important that America’s law, or China’s law, or Nazi Germany’s law. The Founding Fathers had a name for guys like you. They called them Tories. Good thing the founders of our great country didn’t think like you.

Mark Hofman

California public school science teacher

Perhaps I missed the part of the Bible where Jesus endorsed tax evasion.

In case you couldn’t tell, I feel bad for Dr. Hovind. I deeply regret that he has to serve a prison sentence, but do not misunderstand, I do not condone his breaking the law nor do I excuse such activity for any Christian. Paying taxes is not against any Christian teaching, therefore your “God’s law is more important that America’s law…” argument is vacuous.

It is people like you who believe that Christians are above the law that give the rest of us a bad name.

Congratulations.

Are there any taxes or level of taxation you don’t endorse? In Canada, taxes are used for government sponsored abortions, but hey…it the law.

I should not be so rude, sorry. But you did not answer the founding father question. Was what they did wrong when they dumped the tea in the harbor? That was not only tax evasion but willful destruction of property. It is also true that pastors cannot exercise their free speech rights because of their IRS entanglements. It is only a matter of time before the state controls what the churches say and do. Hovind just has greater foresight and bravery than most of us and he is exactly right when he refused to put his church under IRS authority. I would not be that brave.

As far as tax evasion, You are going to have to define that for me. What do you mean by tax evasion?

You may want to go back and read the “render unto” passage again. Jesus says “…give unto God what is God’s”. The church does not belong to Caesar. CSE is also not Caesar’s. Neither is any of my property of yours.

sorry about the spelling. I just type and send.

Are there any taxes or level of taxation you don’t endorse?

As a citizen of this country who enjoys the benefits and freedoms here, taxes are the very least I can do to repay the USA. If I don’t want to pay taxes that support causes I do no support, there are legal avenues to pursue. It gives me no right to simply break the law at will.

Was what they did wrong when they dumped the tea in the harbor?

Hardly a valid comparison, and somewhat offensive. By using it, you are comparing the oppressive nature of the British to modern America. The two are incomparable. But even if you use that example, those men were willing to die for their cause, freedom. Is the tax code so oppressive that you would be willing to die fighting it? Would you be willing to move to an undeveloped land and start a new country over it?

I wouldn’t. My country has been good to me, and to Dr. Hovind.

As far as the church not belonging to the government, I agree. But the law says that even ministries have to pay the employee tax. Dr. Hovind knew this and instead of fighting it legally, he decided to break the law knowingly and purposefully.

Now, if he believed in his cause, he still should have tried to exhaust all legal avenues before deliberately rebelling against the law. He jumped strait to the last resort, which is never desirable. Keep that in mind. He had other options but decided not to try them first. That’s inexcusable, and he has to pay the time for it.

As I said, I feel deeply sympathetic for him and his family. I wish him the best as he can minister from prison. I hope he has tremendous opportunities to share Christ. (my uncle is serving life in prison, and has a very effective ministry to his fellow prison mates).

I don’t have much sympathy for Hovind, but I do have sympathy for his family, and for his parishioners; most of them are still supporting him. Hovind does not deserve their support, and they deserve a better pastor.

If there is a God, I bet this is his way of punishing Hovind for infecting minds with his blatant lies.

I hear ya, George :-)

Mark,
The founding fathers of your nation were not christian. Some of them were actually deists, atheists and agnostics, and I believe your constitution says that it is not based on christian principles. I sincerely hope you are not one of the ID mob. Do you think gods laws on stoning homosexuals or forceing women to marry their rapists arte good laws? Personally I am disgusted by them, and jesus did say they will allways stand.
Happy Darwin Day

Billy

I am curious at which of Hovinds statments did you mean when you said “He seemed to be wrong about 90% of the time he ever spoke on anything”?

Take your pick,
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/hovind/howgood.html

Mr. Hovind consistently tried to equate issues like stellar evolution, abiogenesis, and darwinian evolution, while at the same time attempting to draw a distinction between the abstract terms microevolution and macroevolution.

I understand that you’re probably a Hovind supporter, and I respect that. I believe that his motives were pure, but he was simply misinformed about fields of current scientific study. Mr. Hovind repeatedly claimed that animals can’t evolve out of their “kind”. Earlier on, he said “kind” meant species, until of course it was shown that new species can evolve (and must have for the Biblical model to be believable). To date, the most explanation I’ve ever heard about the idea of a kind is the appeal to intuition, “a horse, a donkey, and a zebra are all the same kind” or “a black widow, a tarantula, and a granddaddy long-legs are all the same kind”. He has been reluctant to specify which biological classification is equatable with “kind”, presumably because he is afraid that the classification he equates “kind” to, may be demonstrably evolvable.

Believe me and take a look around this site, I am not a Darwinist, but there are more sophisticated and logical arguments out there against Darwinism than the one’s Mr. Hovind used. That’s all I’m saying.

For the wages of SIN is death.

I will be bold in my saying.I see no fault in Kent Hovind. There is something very wrong with this country,we allow abortions, even though God says though shall not kill.Whats Gods is Gods and shall no man take away.So if God says the money is his,and gives freely to his childern(christians)He does not tax.For without God we would surely die.Does it then not stand to reason if God gives us life, then he also gives us wealth, and without him we have nothing.Example If we had five dry years in the USA we would be as a third world country, nothing to eat, we would starve, the crops would not in, our trade would go down,we would have nothing.Keep this in mind when you think you are in charge of your life,it is not yours but the Lords.

I have one question for all of the people that keep saying “tax law” or referencing the “law” in general. There is a movie called America: Freedom to Fascism by Aaron Russo. Watch this movie, then read the Constitution, then check out the publicly available court records mentioned in the movie. There is no law that requires you to file taxes. Taxes are paid in exchange for goods and are included in the price. Not one dollar of income taxes pays for any of the services that the government offers (including the military). In fact, According to the 16th Amendment, it is unlawful for the IRS to ask you to file income taxes in the first place. Dr. Hovind has paid all taxes that are legal and has walked away from ones that are not. Just because the court held him liable and guilty, does not mean that it is over. That is a lower court decision and can be Appealed all the way up to the Supreme Court considering that many of his defense arguments deal with Supreme Court decisions. Yet again, watch the movie, do your research, and find answers for yourself.

Joseph,

As I stated before, if Mr. Hovind didn’t think it legal to pay taxes, there is a justice system and a string of lawyers just waiting to hear his case. Mr. Hovind decided to, despite numerous warnings, willfully neglect to pay part of his tax burden. If Mr. Hovind was the constitutional idealist as you say he is, then he should have taken a higher road than abstinence.

Hope that clears my position up for you.

Billy,

What you said is incorrect. Most of the founding fathers were seminary graduates! I guess they could have been spending their time in Seminary pretending to be studying the Word for some reason, but I doubt it.

The Declaration of Independence states that all your rights come from the “Creator” and the Constitution ends with “In the year of our Lord” so to say these documents do not mention God or give credit to God is also incorrect.

If you would rather put your faith in a loser like Darwin rather than Jesus, I would sincerely ask you to spend some time reconsidering this obviously foolish position.

Happy “The tomb is empty” day,

Mark Hofman,
Public school science and history teacher in California

Mark, I would like also to remind you that not all Seminary graduates remain with the faith after they have finished school. I will not get into all of the details here, but Seminary is a far cry from “Christian” in the true biblical sense. I am sure that this answer seems rather cryptic and I would be glad to answer any questions that you have about this, but suffice it to say that men can change after school. Some change specifically because of school!
I too am a Christian Studies major and was considering going to Seminary. I avoided it because of some of the teachings that are present there. If I have not been clear enough, please feel free to email me. Sephiroth1550@gmail.com

Mark,
In fairness, (and I know this wasn’t your point exactly) the founding fathers’ religion is of no consequence. Regardless of what religion they subscribed to, this is a free country not bound by religious laws whatsoever. They may well have been Christians, but that doesn’t mean that our government is “Christian”, nor should it be.

Joseph,
I know all too well the way supposed institutes of higher learning, claiming to do so under the banner of Christianity, can really mess with you :-) Glad to hear you haven’t given up on God, although perhaps we should all give up on “religion” :-)

All,
For more info on this topic, see my latest article. It sort of deals with this whole “religion and politics” issue.

I have watched the movie America: Freedom to Fascism (Thanks Joseph for your tip) what a shocking revelation.
I am not an American & I do not live in America, but I am a big Kent Hovind fan and admire his work and his courage.
From where I stand, it seems that due to his outspokenness against the “Theology of Evolution” he has made enemies in high places, who in turn have used “unwritten laws” and the IRS to persecute him. Why are there millions of Americans not paying taxes and are untouched by the IRS?
Selective persecution and fascist indeed I say.

George,

I’m glad to hear that you watched the movie. You’re right that it is shocking. It took me completely off guard as well. If you want to know why Kent Hovind really went to jail, please email me. For Nathan’s sake, I would rather stay on topic for his blog.

Sephiroth1550@gmail.com

I am wondering. Can anyone help me find the law that requires a private citizen to pay income tax? Please do not send the tax code or any other code. That is written by the IRS. The IRS is (obviously) not allowed to make law. I want the statute/law and statute/law number passed by congress.

Again, do not send me any codes because you would only be proving my point that you can’t find the law.

Mark the public school teacher

Joseph (and all)
Don’t hesitate to converse via the comments here … even if it is a bit off topic. This thread has been dead for a while, and so off topic comments wouldn’t be a problem. By all means, carry on!
Nathan

Mark,

There isn’t one. Go see the movie that George saw and you will see what I’m talking about!

Jeseph
Thanks for your reply, yes I would like to know more about the whole case against Kent Hovind I am interested to find out as much as possible, thanks.

To Mark
Do yourself a favor and go to the website and watch the movie, you will get your answer there.

George,

I am hesitant to do this in a public forum like this, but for those who think that I am simply insane will have a hard time proving it to me. For those of you who don’t know, I am a “conspiracy theorist”. As far as Kent Hovind is concerned, he is a very small, but very important part of the puzzle. As I am sure that all of you know, Kent Hovind is a rather controversial figure in the world of creationism vs evolutionism. Nathan has also mentioned that he is wrong 90% of the time. Whether he is or is not is up for debate, but Kent Hovind has done something that is remarkable none the less, He has continually kept the message going to get evolution out of the text books. That is his primary focus and much of the information that he presents in his lectures is still being taught to children everyday even though current evolutionists will admit that the information is wrong. In that respect, Kent Hovind is a man who offers an alternative view for people how have never even questioned if it is wrong or not. As for me and my “conspiracy theories”, Kent Hovind was placed in jail not because he is a tax dodger, but because he is giving people a chance to look at things and believe things for themselves. There is a power at work in this world (right now) that is quickly moving things into place for a new kingdom on this earth. Some of you may have noticed that we have huge corporations that exist on this planet that affect the lives of nearly everyone on this planet in spite of national boundaries. Huge banks, oil companies, farming industries, and many others that literally control whether we can eat or not. We call it globalization, the bible calls it Babylon. There are many who speak on this topic. One very good one is a man by the name Walter Veith. He is a professor who used to teach evolution at one of the larger schools in South Africa. He is no slouch and his credentials are not in dispute like Kent Hovinds are. For Nathan, if you would like to see a more scientific approach to creationism, I would recommend his first series.

Another great video to give you some archaeological evidence for biblical passages can be found here by a man named Ron Wyatt. His wife narrates these and it is like watching paint dry, but there is some awesome stuff. You can also purchase the full video at his website, where they show you Mt. Sinai in Saudi Arabia, the rock at Horeb, the cave that Elijah stayed in, and the altar to the golden calf. The calf is gone, but the foundation for the thing is still there. Also, between the above video 5 of Walter and Ron’s below, listen for the 18th dynasty remark, it makes me smile!

Finally, for those of you who have your faith in Jesus secured and believe in Him, there is a series by Walter Veith known as Total Onslaught. It details everything that I have been talking about above with the “conspiracy theories” and why Kent Hovind had to be shut up. It is a little unnerving, but it is basically a guy quoting the Bible, showing pictures, and quoting recent articles and news from around the world. It’s very cool!

I won’t put links because there are too many, but go to google and type in

Walter Veith Total Onslaught 201b
Walter Veith Total Onslaught 202b
Walter Veith Total Onslaught 203b
.
.
.
Walter Veith Total Onslaught 236b

Yes, there really are 36 of them and they are about an hour each, but they are really worth the effort. In case you think he is alone, There is a man by the name of Doug Batchelor. Again, go to google and type in

Prophecy Code with Doug Batchelor Part 1
Prophecy Code with Doug Batchelor Part 2
Prophecy Code with Doug Batchelor Part 3
.
.
.
and so on. (There are a lot of these things too)

Walter and Doug are both very cool and bring up many good points in their own unique ways. After watching these things, things like 9/11, Pearl Harbor, The Great Depression, and the Kennedy Assassination will all become crystal clear in their reasons for happening, who has done them, and where we are in the stream of things.

At this point, some of you will wonder if all I do is watch video’s online. The truth is that I spend a lot of time gathering information and checking sources. I have double checked many of the citations from Walter Veith and can confirm many of them. I also spend a lot of time in my Bible because so many things have become crystal clear in the scriptures. The reason that I share information like this with you in videos is because all of us have access to this information. Evolution (according to what I have come to learn about it) is there to make man doubt he has a creator and instead act in ways that are not appropriate for one who carries their creator’s image. If anyone has any questions about what I have shared, please feel free to contact me and I will gladly expound on what is above. As for Kent Hovind, I consider him a brave man who has stood on principles that make him unpopular. When you watch the information that I have included above, you will understand my view perfectly. Until then, please save any comments until you have at least done a cursory look at what I have alluded to above.

Thanks for checking this stuff out!

it is a great pity that so many so called intellegent people can believe in such a fickle thing like evolution. why take that chance of living an immoral life, we all have a built in desire to worship something,we were made to worship God, choose Life, just remember that our lives are short and eternity isnt you choose were you spend eternity, dont be mistaken, we are not here by accident or because of a big bang, how can any idiot think that anything as beautiful as a new born life be created by evolution???????? please get real, follow Jesus your life will change, it is so easy for the world to persecute followers of Jesus, it has happend for many years and wont stop until Jesus returns to collect his people. The bible teaches that in the last days satan will pour out his fury on all mankind…WAKE UP he does not want to burn alone, is it worth taking the chance to say God does not exist, look at how complex you are, look at yourself in the mirror, you are no accident, you were created by God and his son Jesus died for you…all things that are happening are scriptural, and this book the bible was written many years ago, just pick up Gods word and read it..Jesus is calling you, choose life….

Good post llewellyn. Just remember to stick to the KJ version. Wescott and Hort did a number on everyone since then. Check out the below for direct quotes from Wescott and Hort themselves!

Type These into google.

Total Onslaught – 213B – Battle of the Bibles.avi
Total Onslaught – 214B – Changing the Word part 1 and 2.avi
Total Onslaught – 214B – Changing the Word part 3.avi

I can’t believe the irony of George’s response to Llewellyn.
L: It is a great pity that so many so called intellegent people can believe in such a fickle thing like evolution.
G: Just remember to stick to the KJ version.

So the Bible has many versions, but evolution is fickle (whatever that means).

It might interest George to know that the KJV is in many places a revision of a revision of a translation of a translation. A good account of this version’s creation is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_James_Version.

I have also heard a Biblical scholar say that the word “camel” in Matthew 19:24 should actually be rope, which makes more sense when you think about it.
This is the only reference I’ve found on that: http://www.faithwriters.com/article-details.php?id=1720

The point is not that the Bible is wrong, but we need to understand that it’s not always clear what it should mean to us.

Hey Bruce,

Good to hear from someone else. Check out the three videos that I referenced just above you comment. They will explain my reason for saying stick to the King James.

As a retired police officer, I understand the U. S Constitution to be self evident and I do not need the U S Supreme Court to tell me what it means, however we all need the U.S Supreme Court to tell us all what tax code is and how it is applied. Please note there are only seven amendments to the U S Constitution that grant “The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation” and the 16th amendment, the INCOME TAX AMENDMENT is not one of them. Just a thought

Hello my name is John. I have just found out about Kent. I and my family have enjoyed his tapes for a while now and do hope that he fares thru this OK. Although I do support him in prayer and hope that he takes this moment in his life to share Jesus in prison it should also be said that we are not sent thru our trials without the OK from God himself. Even satin had to go to God before taking Job down. So what I’m trying to say is God could of worked it so Kent just received a slap on the wrist but He didn’t. He did break the law and in the Bible it says Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? But He preceived their craftiness, and said unto them, why tempt ye me? Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesars. And He said to them, Render therefor unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s and unto God the things which be God’s. (Luke 20:22-25) WE are supposed to pay our taxes and as Christians we are held at a higher standard. I like his teaching, doesn’t mean I like or agree with all his ideas but but he is good at presenting is points and most of them make sense. God has him in a place full of people that need Jesus and i would hope that the christian community would step behind there brother in Christ and pray for him and his repentance. If anyone knows how to get ahold of Kent thrue the mail I would love to communicate with him. Anyhow that’s my out look. thanks.

If you would research as to what forms of tax evasion that Dr. Hovind is accused of, all of this nonsense on this blog would be for nothing. I have, and tax evasion is wrong. God’s laws are not violated here, however CSE’s accusers simply hate the message and this is the 107th time they have tried shutting CSE down over the last 10 years, and they came close. The real information is difficult to find, but the hint is that all of these court cases are on public record. Dr. Hovind did not commit tax evasion, and their ministry is on the up & up, however nobody in our day and age is exempt from the American “justice” system.

I’ve watched his video’s. They are great.
He shows Gods perspective of the creation.
And one thing Kent showed me… that God is realy crying about us..
yes about you and me.. that we keep denying Him, as the Creator of us.
How painful it will be if we made something, we are proud of it, and then
the ‘thing’ we created will say, who are you? You don’t exist go away!

Just for me, this guy spread the news, and has a right heart. I hope that he will reach many people. God willingly he will touch many people.

Gods blessing upon all the people on this post, that they will see the Only One True God, Who’s crying….

Greetings,
Martijn from Holland

There is no law requiring to pay income tax. There are stipulations for certain taxes like property, interest bearing savings, corporate ownership, etc., but personal income/money earned through labor is NOT TAXABLE. YOU PAY THE INCOME TAX VOLUNTARILY INSTATED TO HELP WITH WAR EFFORTS. But what does the government do? Instead of making a law to pay income tax (because they can’t since that is unconstitutional) they have penalties for not paying income tax. This is how a mafia works: pay up or we ruin you. Kent Hovind offered to pay all his back taxes but the court would not allow it.

This person is a damn idiot and certainly knows nothing about Kent Hovind, The Law, The Constitution, The Bible, Science or Common Sense…

Let the moron keep showing his ignorance, makes us look better everyday.

It amazes me just how many ‘Christians’ out there think the exact same
way the Kent did in order to get himself into this mess. Canadian government is not supporting Chirstian ideals. They support and fund abortion and gay right and feminist organization and evolution! I have
heard a lot of Christians justify not “Giving unto Caesar what is his”

Caesar was far more evil than the Canadian or US Governments yet Jesus
- who is supposed to be our master – told us to pay taxes! That should
be the end of the matter but for most it is not! Jesus said….
“Why call me Lord if you do not do what I say?” Kent is not alone!

As for me and my “conspiracy theories”, Kent Hovind was placed in jail not because he is a tax dodger, but because he is giving people a chance to look at things and believe things for themselves.”

Then Kent is an even bigger fool than I had previously supposed. No, Joseph, the indictment was specific. Read it and then read the Appeal Court decision; both documents are on-line. Hovind deliberately evaded taxes for a quarter of a century until even the comatose IRS caught up with him. By his own admission he spent some 400 hours on the telephone – yes, 400 hours, talking to that arch-crook Glen Stoll on how best to hide his money from the taxman.

Hovind is not a pastor nor does he run a church. He made his money mainly from the commercial activity of selling videos, tapes and books. He owned at least ten properties and numerous vehicles including a large RV. Why should he be permitted to avoid tax on $1m a year income when a doctor, a teacher, a farmer or a labourer may not?

I have no pity whatsoever for Hovind or his family. He is the architect, first and last, of his own misfortune. As for his son Eric who has now taken on the mantle of preaching his father’s ridiculous views on science, the basis of the Christian religion is that we are all individually responsible for our own lives and therefore he is as responsible as his father for the family’s current predicament. Hovind connived for many years to evade the tax system and not one in his family stood up to him and said “Dad, you’re wrong”. Even after he was convicted, Hovind continued to conspire with his son to hide his assets from the IRS. To the credit of his daughter, she refused to have anything to do with the conspiracy.

”Kent Hovind was placed in jail not because he is a tax dodger, but because he is giving people a chance to look at things and believe things for themselves.

Then the government conspirators are a pretty incompetent bunch because the Hovind’s business of selling Young Earth Creationism continues. Please get real.

Jack wrote: “The real information is difficult to find, but the hint is that all of these court cases are on public record. Dr. Hovind did not commit tax evasion,….

Then I suggest, Jack, that you read the court documents which are on-line. The Appeal Court disagrees with your untutored opinions.

AD wrote: “Kent Hovind offered to pay all his back taxes but the court would not allow it.

No, he didn’t. At the sentencing hearing when a little reality had at last seeped into the space between his ears he sobbed to the court that there were many thousands of people who were more than willing to pay the arrears on his behalf. He never once offered to pay from his own resources and, in fact, he has gone to extreme lengths to hide his funds from the IRS such that it has had to place liens on his properties because it couldn’t find the hundreds of thousands of dollars he had salted away.

Contrary to your ridiculous claim, the court, far from disallowing Hovind from paying his taxes, insisted that he does pay together with interest and penalties on top. Please read the judgment and then try to discern fact from fiction.

”Another great video to give you some archaeological evidence for biblical passages can be found here by a man named Ron Wyatt.

Joseph, Ron Wyatt was at best deluded or, possibly, a crook. Probably both. In order to continue with his pseudo-archeological holidays in the Middle East each year Ron had to raise money from gullible people. People such as you, in fact. So he spun wonderful yarns, fantastic fables which only gullible people could believe. People like you, Joseph. Fortunately, there is such a wealth of American fundamentalist Christians only too willing to fall for such guff in order to re-inforce their belief system that he was able to have a glorious life swanning around Egypt, Israel and Turkey for many summers.

Or perhaps Wyatt was honest but just careless. Perhaps he really did make wonderful discoveries but, on each occasion, the article whether the Ark of the Covenant, treasures of the Temple, Pharaoh’s chariot wheels etc, etc were immediately stolen from him never to be seen again. Gosh, what bad luck.

Joseph, which is the more likely scenario? If you think it was the second then you must explain why nobody ever witnessed the discoveries. And if you believe Ron then why don’t you believe Joseph Smith and his story of the discovery of the golden tablets? He had witnesses. As I remember it, like Ron’s pretend artifacts, the tablets disappeared too.

I am shocked at the comments that others have made against another, just because they do not beleive as they do.
Please tell me how rapists and murderers serve less time than Mr Hovind has been given.
I do not yet have all the information on his case, but I am not surprised as to a conspiracy theory. Before you remark on another person and their faults first note that, “he without sin caste the first stone”!
Even Jesus was accussed of things he did not do. People bore false witness against him and even those he healed turned on him. Lets not forget that Peter even himself denied him.
All I can say to those who do not beleive in the plan for the New World order..Wake Up!
If any good can come of what Ken Hovind did or did not do, it is this…Jesus name is on our lips and minds and may your hearts be stirred to seek the truth. Search your own hearts and repent for your own wrongs. I thank God that man is not my judge because by the sound of most of you, though you are great sinners yourselves you would not hesitate to wound and hurt me, mock me and deride me even kill me based on feelings rather than truth!
And that is exactly what they did to Jesus, because people refused to believe the truth “that he was the Son Of God” . Sit in ignorance or pride what ever you will, but know this GOD WILL HAVE THE LAST SAY!

Well it is a well known fact that our government has persecuted people under Christianity that exposes them especially the Roman Catholic system.Tony Alamo is being persecuted and slandered as a filthy sick person and nothing could be further from the truth.

David Koresh and his followers were used to make an example of whats coming to Christians in the near future.

Jim Jones in the 1970`s was another example.Poisioned kool-aid did not kill them the CIA our government did because Jim Jones as David Koresh were men that knew to much as their followers so all had to be silenced.

Men have come out of our government exposing them until they died that will never be reported by our controlled government media.

Rome is out for world control that will cause America to wake-up in the dark ages again if we dont pray against the wicked tyrrany.Read vatican assassins and you will know that its no conspiracy theory but a fact.

Kent hovind is being used as an example of whats coming.

The past killingsof christians by our government and the jailing of them is examples.Wake-up America Rome has their man Obama that will bring to pass what Romehas fought for for centuries and thats control of the USA.

Honestly, if you truly and sincerely had the smallest amount of sympathy for Hovind and his family, you would have never come up with this ridiculous site. So pretty much just save your smack talk and get a life!!!! I mean you wait till the man is in jail to ramble on about him!!! how sad. But you know what, non of this matters and im sure he would care less about what you think!! Because nothing you say will take away his salvation and harm him!!!! it just jeopardizes yours! I mean it doesn’t matter what you believe there is a heaven and hell!!!! And our creator- GOD! where will you be when you die?
