Yes…Those Are Ads

Some of you may have noticed lately that I’ve added some non-obtrusive google ads to this site. I wanted to take a minute to explain.

Google ads are an easy way to make a little extra money from your website. Believe me, I’m not getting rich with this site, but given the fact that it does cost a little money and a lot of time to run it, it helps to have a little extra compensation.

I’ve tried to keep the ads as non-obtrusive as possible, so as to not to affect your ability to read the content. The colors blend in to the rest of the site so they’re not overtly “ad-ish”.

Also, google ads pay on a per-click basis. That means that I only get compensated if an ad is clicked. I don’t get paid for just displaying them on the site. If you don’t like the ads, then don’t click them. No big deal.

Believe me, this is a labor of love. I do not run this blog to make money, not in the least.

Just wanted to explain. I really hope no one minds. If you have an opinion, feel free to leave it in the comments below.
