The best so-called "marketing" in the world...

"Silent Witness"

Walk the talk, and others will see God in you, and will notice that you have something they don't, which will lead to the question... "WoW! You sure are a happy person, you always seem upbeat! What is your secret?"

And it is something that EVERYONE can do, and it doesn't cost the church a penny out of its "advertising budget"...

Holding "bible studies" at home, invite folks, and posting those ads in local papers is a good way to draw folks in as well. The "informality" of a local small group gathering is another way...

If you are a married couple w/kids... Hold a VBS (Vacation Bible Study) at your home during school breaks. The unsaved love to drop their kids off for a week of "free babysitting" at a VBS (Trust me, this one is a biggie!) And you get the chance to invite the children to Sunday School, (which is more time off for the parents) which in turn could spark interest in the parents when the kids tell them what a wonderful time they had, and ask Mom & Dad to go with them next Sunday.
