Yeah, your usage of the ‘r’ word was one of the few correct usages that I’ve heard in the last last, oh, 20 years or so. Which is what made it all the more important.

Glad you enjoyed the funny parts, too. Sometimes you gotta laugh at this kinda stuff.

At first I thought your comment was hostile, as if you were condemning me for using the “r-word”, but after I finished reading it, I quite literally laughed for 5 minutes straight! Even after I finished laughing, I had that tickle that made me laugh again every 10 seconds or so

Nathan, I hate the “r” word — it is perhaps the most overused word in American society.

That said, this clip is not “borderline racist” — there’s nothing “borderline” about it!! She criticizes the way a word is pronounced based on the ethic genre of the music, and somehow is divinely aware that the angels all sound like Anglo-Saxons.

The disappointing thing in this is that we won’t enjoy schaudenfreude in heaven, so I won’t be able to laugh hysterically at the look on her face when Ingrid finds out that Michael (the arch-angel) sounds like Samuel L Jackson.

I never got to the 200 mark or anything, but I’m right around your height and waist size/weight. I’m also aiming for 150-160. I’m doing nutrisystem, then hitting the gym. Of course, that will start mid-june after my mini-vacation

I’ll be taking Perry’s advice here and here and will be going on a diet soon. I’ve gotten chubby, and it’s not cool.

Good for you! I got pretty chubby myself, but I got dedicated and am steadily losing weight and restoring my muscle tone. I got up to a high of 205 pounds (waaaay too much for my 5′9″ frame) but I’m now back down to 180, and hopefully will be able to get back to 160 or thereabouts. I was up to a 36 waist, now I’m on the line between 33 and 34- but I’m still aiming for 32

Is that not ridiculous? Honestly, it sounds like a parody or something, doesn’t it? About half way through that song, I was actually enjoying listening to it. I guess that’s just “the flesh” taking over or something I actually really like gospel music … Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and such.

Not to mention that it is borderline racist, if you asked me.
