Josh,
Did you happen to notice that story was satire? None of it actually happened. (other than the first part, which no, I don't have a problem with).

Take a look at my last comment and find out where I draw the line. Where we obviously differ is in our opinions on which device on which a woman is allowed to exercise. I find your position a tad bit too strict, especially considering the fact that you can't give a reason why a woman shouldn't exercise on a pole (as opposed to a treadmill).

Nathan...do you believe it is also okay to bring pole dancing into the church like this?

http://www.alittleleaven.com/2007/08/pole-dancing-mi.html

If you think that is ok, please tell us where you draw the line.

Chad,
Read the comment above. No nudity. Not in public. It's a workout. And probably makes for good fun for husbands and wives at home.

Nope. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to figure out why dancing on a pole, fully clothed and in the privacy of a studio or home, is wrong.

I guess I'm just weird.

But, I'll stand with you against that whole "dancing on a pole nude for dollar bills and lusty stares from men who like to gawk at women" thing.

Perhaps there's a difference?

The diet is going well too … I’m down another 3 pounds as of Wednesday.

Cool! I finally broke my 175 barrier- I'd been sitting at that weight for two months- and in fact I broke 170 over the last two weeks. I moved my goal down 5 pounds though, so I've got 15 more to go. Working 50 hour weeks has probably helped- there's a fair bit of physical labor involved, and not as much opportunity to snack. Five people at my job either quit, were fired, or transferred in the space of three weeks, so everyone else has had to work long hours to take up the slack. At least now I can justify to myself spending the cash on that Dean bass... and a sweet deal on a Seagull acoustic at the flea market.

Monday is labor day, and I’ll be laboring.

I hear ya... at least I get time & a half 'cuz it's a holiday.

I would take up pole exercising, but it would scare me too bad and I think my wife would never touch me again.

I missed the madness on that post involving "Sonny". Wow. I don't know what to say.

I'm looking forward to nathanrice.net. I'll have questions...

Rindy,
I'm fairly sure that the end of week bullet points are my favorite posts to write.

plus, you guys seem to like them too ... now that's a great combination!

Dinner will certainly be well anticipated. I'm very eager for Sunday to come!
