How About Some Bullet Points
Before I start the bullet points, I want to acknowledge that I did indeed leave off the weekend reflections last Monday. In light of that, I want to share something very quickly that, at least for me, is a bit of proof that God exists.
Last Sunday, I heard a message on giving at church. And listen, I don’t have one of “those” churches that is always begging for money, asking people to “sow a seed” into the ministry and “expect a harvest”, but they do not neglect the subject of Biblical giving. You might remember that was a prerequisite for my future church.
I just want to say that never, NEVER has it ever failed me … if I tithe on my income, I do not go without. I’m not saying that it’s proof for you, but for me … it’s an alarm. When I hold back my tithe for myself, I always hurt to pay the bills. When I’m faithful to give back to God a portion of what He’s blessed me with, the bills always get paid. God really can do more with 90% than I could with 100%.
Anyway, I just thought I’d share that with everyone
Now how ’bout those bullet points!!!
- Did you know that this blog has a Google pagerank of 5? What does that mean? It means that if I link to you, Google takes it pretty seriously. I think that’s pretty cool stuff!!! Check your PageRank here.
- How did everyone like having actual articles this week? I am actually setting aside time on Fridays to write as many posts as I can crank out for the various blogs I write for. I then future post them for 4am on the morning of the day I want the post to go live. That way it shows up in your feed reader by the time you wake up!
- What the heck ever happened to Man vs. Wild? Although I don’t enjoy it as much, I have been watching Survivorman a lot more recently as I work. Not a bad show, I must say. Makes me kinda want to go camping.
- Wanna win your church a free website? Check this out.
- Does it matter to you that Fred Thompson doesn’t go to church? Personally, yeah. Politically, not so much.
- Some interesting visits to this blog this month — First, evidently someone from BJU’s dorm has visited recently. Also, someone from the InTouch.org Organization visited as well. It’s always amazing the little nuggets your stats can give you.
- If you have any doubt that advertising your favorite posts is a good idea, let’s just say that my purpose driven post is consistently the most popular story on this blog. Think about it.
- I’m going to go through the stats at the end of this month and to a recap. I think you guys will find it pretty interesting the kind of things that get people here. It’s actually pretty funny. I think you’ll get a kick out of it.
OK, that’s all I got. Have a great weekend everyone!

I enjoy reading everything you have to say!
you are right about tithing. So many times I think “I don’t think I can make it, but it is a MUST that we tithe!”
thank you for reminding me of this!
Love u, DArla
Dear Nathan…
Due to complications of my Husband’s (Guy R. Vestal) surgery on the 19th, it appears there has been damage done to his spine. He is having me close his websites, the corporation is being dissolved, and the church plant disanded. He asked me to come here to let you know so that you can remove the link to his website that should be going offline tonight.
He thanks you for the time you and others have spent with him here, and wishes you all the best. Please pray for us as we deal with this unexpected event in our lives.
Thank You, and God Bless…
-Juliette Vestal
