I've been blogging a bit on "Buzz" words and how Christians use them. 'Balance' is definitely one of them. It seems to mean something different for just about everyone. It's also one of those nearly impossible, unbelievably illusive characteristics to grab hold of (at least for me).

You can see one thing I wrote on it while I was away from the church on vacation and COMPLETELY out of balance. I tried to keep it on the 'lighter side' but that doesn't change the truthfulness of it.

Anyway, I enjoy reading your posts from time to time. I found them through some links to perrynoble.com

Keep up the great writing!

I am back to reading a workbook that a small group of us were studying every week. It's called "Experiencing God" by Henry T. Blackaby. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! Here's Blackaby's URL: http://www.blackaby.org/

It addresses many of the same issues you are talking about in your post.

Frankly speaking....it rocks!
