Hah, I saw that too- I’ve actually been reading Dr. McGrath’s blog… religiously, if you will. ;D
Hmm, does the Bible even say anything about transsexuals? Sure, there’s the whole ‘thou shalt not lie with a man’ bit, but that only applies to men- what sex would God consider Dr. Roughgarden to be? For that matter, what sex does God call people born with ambiguous genitalia, or little girls born with outwardly completely female bodies, but XY chromosomes (androgen insensitivity syndrome)?
