Wedding Updates
Contrary to what some of you may be thinking by now, no I am not dead or in a coma
Things have just been very busy for me recently with wedding stuff coming up so quickly!
As promised, here is the website where all of you can go to find out more about myself and my bride to be! You can RSVP for the wedding and reception there too!
If you are planning on attending the wedding, please RSVP. You can find all the necessary information there on the website including directions, times, etc.
I hope to see everyone there!
Nathan

Nice to know you’re not dead or in a coma (though I’m not ruling out the possibility that you’re a zombie)! Once again, congrats on tying the knot
Congratulations, Nathan — and Meredith!
Didn’t know this. Read your wedding website. Very nice! I just had a friend get married, also to a woman named Meredith. But he didn’t have a cool website.
Now, of course, you’ll have to renew that domain forever… just out of guilt. If you let it lapse (and becoming the stomping ground for spammers) it will be like saying you don’t care about her. Oh, she’ll say it’s okay (they all do!), but inside she’ll feel like you took her heart and tossed into Russia - the home of the spammers!
So, be sure and have lots of children so you two don’t just sit around watching TV, getting old, and debating over Mac vs. Windows. Yeah, I know you probably already had that important discussion - but it never ends!
I’ve been to the Biltmore House once and the BRP a number of times. Perfect spot to pop the question! You told her it was one of your summer homes, right?
Let’s see what else? Subscribe to Wife Advice for some hilarious marriage fun (all tongue-in-cheek of course). And check out my new comments on my blog so you can see how I ganked your design just a smidgen in displaying the comments a bit better (I think). This would be a good post to use as an example.
Basically, maybe it was just me, but I kept thinking that the large blue metadata area for each comment sort of referred to the comment below. At least that’s how my eye would see it each time, even on my own blog, before I’d catch myself again. So, I tried that approach while implementing Gravatars.
Lastly, have lots of children. Did I say that already? Probably needs to be said again since most people will tell you the opposite. When we had child #2 (TWO!!!), a close family member asked us “Are you done?”. On the day he was born, no less. Ugh…. such manners, eh?
Thankfully, I quickly shot back with… “Done? Done having sex? No, not if I have anything to say about it.” and that was the end of that.
Anyway, super congratulations and many blessings on you both.
Congratulations, Nathan!
My wife and I tied the knot in 2006 while I was very busy at work, so I know what you’re talking about. I took a week off for our local get-away honeymoon and would have to say that it was the best week of my life.
Best wishes to you and Meredith on your new life together. Nothing is more rewarding than taking care of your woman, and I’d also add that nothing is going to be more work than taking care of her properly.
God Bless!
Good grief this confirms I am in fact a slacker! How did I miss this news before? (And to think I even follow you on twitter.) Just wanted to say congratulations to you both! Checked out your announcement post as well… what a great looking couple!
Together may you find strength, comfort and enduring love, always.
Well Howdee!
Been a while getting back on my feet, so I had to come here to get back into the old haunt.
Congrats on the upcoming event… Obviously can’t make the wedding, but I can at least hit the gift registry to make an in absentia showing.
Best of luck to you both. And let us hope you will be getting back to posting someday…
Congratulations on the marriage — I’m sure you two are excited!
And congratulations on actually securing a domain name with both of your names.
Here’s a funny story for you: when my wife Jenn and I (Matthew) tried to do that same, we first tried http://www.jennandmatt.com, but found out it was taken. Then we tried mattandjenn.com — and it was the exact same site. So we now had mortal enemies in the URL universe. Good thing we were able to get the one best for us — mattifer.net.
Best of luck to both of you. I just think that it is great that technology now allows memories to live forever online. I think that when I got married 10 years ago that was not really an option that was viable.
