It’s strange … I’m torn over Prop 8. While I do believe that Government shouldn’t be involved with marriage at all, I still find it acceptable that a proper method of constitutional amendment was followed. It may be sad, but every proper legal procedure was followed.
Eventually, Prop 8 will be repealed with a new California Constitutional amendment, or will be ruled federally unconstitutional.
Oh, I agree that it’s perfectly legal. That only makes it all the more tragic that they would change the letter of the law to something so contrary to its spirit.

Indeed. I still very much believe in the power of patience. It will be reversed eventually — probably by the same people that approved it.
