Personal
My Fellow Man
I have tremendous faith in my fellow man. Not that they’re perfect, but that given time and freedom, I believe they’ll always chart the best path for themselves.
Generosity
It’s easy to be generous with other people’s money. True nobility is charity and sacrifice of your own possessions, by your own free will.
Wedding Reminder
Just a quick reminder to everyone … I’m getting married tomorrow at 7:00pm in Walkertown, NC. If you’re in the area, please come by and visit with us! We’d be thrilled to have you there!

Hacked
Well, shame on me for being lazy about keeping up with the latest WordPress upgrades on my server. It seems as if someone has gotten into my dashboard and done a little damage. It seems like most of the posts are intact, but they’ve deleted all my pages (the about page, for example) and did [...]
Headaches
I probably spend 12+ hours a day looking at a computer screen, and it’s starting to take its toll. I’ve been experiencing painful headaches lately, so it looks like I need to use my computer for work only for a while. Blog posts will be short and infrequent until the headaches subside.

“A vote for a third party candidate is a vote for John Kerry.” [hint: Bush and Kerry both were terrible choices]
“I think I might want to be Episcopalian”
“Let me explain [...]

A couple of days ago, I was reading the local paper. One of my favorite sections is the Letters to the Editor section, and I make sure I read that every single morning. This particular morning, I read a very interesting story that, as you can imagine, I didn’t think could go without [...]
I’m Getting Married
If you follow me on twitter, you already got a behind the scenes tip via an update. But, for the rest of you, I figured I needed to announce this here on the blog to let everyone know … and so you can celebrate with me!
This past Saturday, Meredith and I headed to [...]
Overheard …
As promised, I wanted to share some funny things I overheard at the meeting for Ron Paul at BJU.
First of all, let me just say that I am fully aware that the environment at BJU is not one that would be obviously welcoming to a candidate like Ron Paul. His position of liberty on [...]
I Knew It Would Happen Eventually
Yes, after over a year of relentless writing and promoting this blog, the subscriber numbers peaked at 100 and has been plateaued there for months. But after only a few months of being in existence, hardly any promotion, and no real effort on my part to grow the subscriber base, my NathanRice.net blog, just [...]
